Insects are the canaries in our coal mine - magical thinking won't help us this time
Insects are the canaries in our coal mine - magical thinking won't help us this time
Insects are a large part of the animal biomass of our planet. They are crucial to our survival in many ways, particularly as pollinators. People are vaguely aware that pollinating bees, necessary to so many of our crops, have been dying or disappearing in large numbers. They are less aware that many other insects are pollinators. Without these pollinators, crops don't grow.
A recent study out of northwest Germany from the Krefeld Entomological Society found that in the period of 1989 to 2013, the biomass of insects fell 76%. That was in special nature reserves. In an agricultural part of Germany that has been peaceful, stable, and without major economic or political incidents for many years.
The insects are at risk. Which means we're at risk.

'We are property' - 'Zoo Theory' finally explains why aliens haven't contacted us yet
'We are property' - 'Zoo Theory' finally explains why aliens haven't contacted us yet -- High Strangeness
MIT radio astronomer John A Ball has proposed the theory that the planet Earth is a kind of nature preserve, overseen by caretaker aliens who keep us from making contact with anyone else in the universe.

“so I am given to understand that in 2018 things are going to smooth out some?”
Yes the more each of us Embodies and no for the simple fact that 2018 ushers in mega change (deeper collapse of the negative global patriarchy and its systems etc.) on the physical level. Saturn along with Pluto in Capricorn, and Uranus in Taurus will get the job done and rather quickly so get as much energetic elevation as everyone can and HOLD that higher space/frequency/vibration/NEW reality/NEW Earth world etc. etc. while the old lower comes undone.
And yes, Pathpavers/Wayshowers/First Embodiers/Forerunners etc. always go first and HOLD that higher NEW space for the rest of the people coming up those many energetic Stair-steps behind us. This is what we do for Self and ALL.

A paranoid is someone who knows a little of what's going on.
After one look at this planet any visitor from outer space would say;
'I want to see the manager.'
Sometimes paranoia's just having all the facts.
'I want to see the manager.'

How to boost your Dopamine levels naturally and reduce depression and anxiety
How to boost your Dopamine levels naturally and reduce depression and anxiety
Dopamine is the brain's master chemical. This single neurotransmitter is responsible for a plethora of mental and physical processes. By learning how to stimulate your own dopamine levels naturally, you can overcome depression, anxiety, apathy, and fear, while boosting feelings of pleasure created by this amazing little neuron.

If you help others, you will be helped
If you help others, you will be helped, perhaps tomorrow, perhaps in one hundred years, but you will be helped. Nature must pay off the debt...It is a mathematical law and all life is mathematics.

Forests promote healthy brain activity
Mother nature is a valuable resource for human health & wellbeing
"I saw this little flower as I was coming back from my class...and it really gave me a strong sense of hope."
Twentieth Century German social psychologist Erich Fromm first advanced the notion that humans hold an inborn connection to nature. Later, it was popularized by biologist E.O. Wilson as "the urge to affiliate with other forms of life." In the ensuing years, support for the positive effects of nature has gained considerable traction, grounded in a growing body of research.
In recent weeks, at least four new studies have emerged adding more validity to what science repeatedly has revealed: being around nature is good for us. The latest research shows that interacting with nature makes the brain stronger and soothes the psyche.
