Hi, Thanks for visiting my blog. This is a real nice picture, quite the collection all on one downed tree. I kind of don't think they are Fomitopsis pinicola, which tend to prefer conifirs. I can't see the underside but wonder if they could be Ganoderma apllanatum (Artists's Conk). Mushrooms are always tricky to identify and require a lot of evidence - usually including color, shape, type, gill structure, spore print etc. Your blog looks very interesting, quite eclectic. I've bookmarked it to take a closer look when I get some time. All the best!
I think you could be right about them being Ganoderma Apllanatum, I wasn't sure because of the colour and my mushroom guides aren't that extensive especially the pictures in them but thanks so much for the identification and the comment!
