Reiki: Healing with the energy of life

Reiki is a traditional Japanese technique for healing, relaxation, and stress reduction. The healing energy of Reiki is transmitted through the palms of the hands. Some Reiki healers, then, practice the laying on of hands to transmit healing energy to others, while some healers practice a no-touch Reiki where the palms of the hands are held several inches from the body of the person receiving Reiki. Reiki is also a spiritual practice.

The concept behind Reiki posits that there is an invisible life force energy in the universe. It flows through all of us to varying degrees and is what causes us to be alive. If your life energy is low, you may feel sick, depressed, stressed, or anxious, whereas if your life energy is high, you are likely to feel healthy, happy, and energetic.

The word "Reiki" is made up from two Japanese words "Rei" and "Ki." "Rei" is often translated as "God's wisdom" or "the wisdom of a Higher Power," while "Ki" means "life force energy." Reiki, then, is life force energy that emanates from a higher power. Reiki, thus, is a practice that transmits energy that can be physically healing but also spiritually healing. Practicing or receiving Reiki can be a wonderful addition to anyone's spiritual practices, regardless of your religious beliefs.

Take This Life

Without a doubt I am now sailing out to sea, in the mirror I see my eyes glinting mysteriously and I breathe. In the deep; I am accepting of all my dark sides. Would you swim alongside me and surface or hide?

You are on the inside of my mind, I am constantly wondering, contemplating if you are as far as I imagine, as close to me as I would like. You are so quiet in your affections, but your energy is alike to Buddha, so strong in compassion, so wise in walking.

While I sit beside you I am content, maybe only due to that Buddha-like quality: I pray instead of pretend. Love can become a spontaneous meditation, a suspended relaxation.

I am happy to love you even if I am just a field you wander through, I may be a means of experience for you like an experiment and I am content with that. I will love even without you understanding.

I am non-demanding in this state, thankful in prayer each hour, breathing, leaving the outcome to the angels, leaving the decision to you. Passive maybe, patient yes, ready to surrender, willing to bless, I will treasure these moments for many days, maybe forever.

How did this happen between us, what is this mystery? A magic string has been unraveled, a memory of a thousand lives with you. Wherever I go I feel sparks inside, warmth, I am alive, before I was just dreaming, dying, surviving. I pretend to capture the feeling in words and I am failing.

Accepting of all my dark sides, I am sailing on this ocean of pride. Would you swim alongside me and surface or hide? Take this life, ecstatic life, take your time, you are mine.

Bring out the faith in me

I sometimes find it hard to express myself and I find this quite frustrating. I sometimes think that people have the same perception as me and the same view on things. Obviously this is madness (hence my out-of-control mad states) because everyone has their own individual insight and that is an amazing thing.

I have a strange perception (personality INFJ) often clairvoyant, this can be rather freaky at times, I am also pretty introverted and this results in frustration at others not being on the same frequency, this can also result in me being rather demanding of others. I have to be very carefull what I share with others and be responsible with my mindstate.

Although there are many people very close to me that have no idea what's going on inside me and if I told them would only be worse off, I cannot ignore the fact that I have been blessed with a group of fantastic people. I have some quality friends, they are all kind of crazy, but I know that they care about me. They keep me alive while I'm dealing with my issues and healing my hurts and they are often the ones that bring out the faith in me. This post is for them. Peace.

And when you choose a friend, listen to his counsels. He will not enforce them -- they will be gentle whisperings. He will not be very loud. He will not argue, he will not command -- he will only suggest, he will only hint, he will only indicate. And that is the case with the ultimate friend, the Master.

Buddha says: buddhas only point the way. They don't make it very loud because they don't want to be violent. They don't want to drag you according to themselves; they have no desire to dominate you. They simply express whatsoever they have known and understood -- now it is up to you to follow or not to follow.

And learn from his life, be profited by his life -- not only his words, but see the way the friend lives. See his actual life and watch it. This is the only way to learn in life. People are scriptures -- you have to learn how to read the language. People are great secrets, each person is carrying a great secret. If you know how to listen to it you will be tremendously benefited.

The pathway of tomorrow is already mapped out and in their hands.

It amounts to the dismantling of our rights, laws and beliefs of yesterday and the introduction of the new concept of tomorrow.

The financial institutions are spearheading this change and soon your money will be a distant memory and credit scoring will rule and govern the land.

What was once yours, will become a means of disciplining you for noncompliance and degrading you to the lowest of the low.

Those who have gathered in Glasgow almost certainly know this already, their as smug as smug can be and frankly they don't give a shit about what you think. Their parasitic, they feed endlessly off our good nature and enjoy watching you squirm.

To ensure that there can be NO rapprochement, those ultimately in control placed puppets in high authority and these gleefully bunch of idiots are now in Glasgow.

There are many agenda's, Covid was only the start of this torrid journey, Climate change will help them cement further changes that will shape our future.

There's worse to come, the dismantling of all natural processes like farming so that the food that we eat is controlled by the food chemical and pharmaceutical industries, they'll feed us their concoctions and further increase their profits whilst controlling what we eat to their own ends.

I must write what I know, but I know not what to write. I don’t know what to make of this life.

One moment I feel joy to be part of this world and another moment I fall apart on the floor and I know tears. For many years I have known sorrow and war.

Is this what I know?

I must write what I feel, but I don’t feel right.

Sometimes I take delight in simple things but later on I‘m afraid about future states of mind that are unkind.

This must be what living is like for me. These are the eyes with which I see.

Are these my hands with which I write?

I must write what is real but what is there at the core?

Who am I? What am I here for?

I am here to write about something real knowing then that I cannot write.

It is self-evident in your own experience. And what it is, is that as we go back in time the universe if found to be a simpler place. If we go back a long ways in time, the universe is a very simple place. There are no cultures, there are no animals, there are no plants. Indeed if we go far enough back in time there are no stars and planets, the universe is simply a swarming ocean of energy.

But as we approach the present its as though the universe has undergone a series of crystallizations, out of itself of higher and higher forms of organization. And this is what I call novelty.”

From 1997 to 2001, host of the radio show Coast to Coast AM, Art Bell had a number of conversations with Terence McKenna. In one of these enlightening encounters, a caller asked McKenna what the meaning of life is. Here is his reply:

McKenna:

“You know in classical philosophy they said this is what classical philosophy is about. Who are we? Where did we come from? Where are we going? These are the three questions, everything arises from this. Each leads on to the other.

I’ve tried to look at the question, where did we come from and have proposed theories about it. By looking into my body, brain with drugs and meditation and just analytical thinking, I’ve tried to look at who are we, and then the great unanswered question is, where are we going. You know, what is to be the destiny of the human race? Are we an episode in the biology of this planet, or will we build an eden strung along the Milky Way? And from there to yet grander and greater things?

We don’t know how much intelligence there is in the universe, but we certainly know that something has broken out on this planet in our species that is like nothing else in the order of nature.”

Art Bell:

“What if we are nothing more than a virtual zip on the face of reality?”

McKenna:

“Well if by virtual you mean that we are inside some kind of artificial simulacrum, which is some software being run, well then the question is by who and to what ends?

I could accept that. My life is so much like a story, that I’m constantly asking the question, who writes this? Who writes this stuff? I mean, who thought me up? Who thought Art Bell up and put us talking like this front of twenty-two million people?

That doesn’t happen in reality, that kind of thing happens in art of the very finely honed source, and so I want to know, what is the medium and who is the artist, and who’s paying for this production?”

The gods of ancient Egypt are metaphors for key aspects of the origin and destiny of humanity. According to Edgar Cayce's discourses, the average citizen of ancient Egypt understood the hidden message better than we do today. Cayce further states that the characters and imagery in the Book of Revelation were also metaphors for hidden messages, and some disciples knew that and understood the Revelation better than we do today.

Here are brief insights into the hidden meaning of several key Egyptian gods (part 3).

ISIS, Conceiver of the Messiah

One of the greatest gods among the hosts of godlings was Isis. She was strong, enduring, and clever. She was not to follow the weaknesses of most of her fellow gods, seeking to mingle with the sons and daughters of man and their carnal sensations.

Behold, Isis was in the form of a woman, skilled in words. Her heart rebelled at the millions of men, she chose rather the millions of the gods, and she esteemed the millions of the spirits. She meditated in her heart, "Could I not be in heaven and earth like Ra, and make myself mistress of the earth and a goddess by knowing the name of the holy God?"

Isis had many adventures, but the greatest were the resurrection of Osiris, the conception and birthing of Horus, and her struggles with Set, the destroyer. The story goes like this: Isis began as a modest divinity of the Delta (Isris). Because of her intense seeking to maintain godliness in the midst of humanness, she interacted with the great god Ra. From him she cleverly gained wisdom and power (much to his surprise). After Ra returned to the heavens, the god Osiris, her elder brother in the family of gods, chose her as his consort and she shared the throne with him. She helped him, as she had Ra, civilize the earthly ones. She taught the art of curing disease, of growing corn, spinning flax and weaving cloth, and marrying to form a home in order to bring about some resemblance of heaven in this faraway place.

When Osiris went on a great journey around the earth, she remained as regent of Egypt. She ruled so wisely and well that their younger brother Set could not take over. However, Set was full of self-seeking desires and so he cunningly convinced his older and trusting brother Osiris to lie down in a coffin, whereupon he killed Osiris, sealed the coffin and cast it into the Nile, which carried it out to sea. It came to rest on a distant shore at the base of a tamarisk tree. The tree grew around the coffin, concealing it entirely within its trunk. When the tree was cut down by the king of that distant land, it gave off such an exquisite fragrance that its reputation spread around the world, eventually reaching Isis' ears. When she heard of this fragrant tree, she knew immediately that it was the essence of Osiris. When she arrived in that land, the queen, Astarte, entrusted her newborn son into Isis' care. Isis would have conferred immortality upon the child if the mother hadn't broken the spell by her anguished cries of terror when she saw Isis bathe the baby in purifying flames. In order to calm the mother, Isis reveals her true identify and intentions. The mother then convinces her husband, the king, to give the trunk of the magnificent tree to Isis.

Isis drew forth the coffin from the tree, and the body from the coffin. She bathed it in her tears and hid the body in the marshes. But Set found the body and cut it into fourteen pieces, scattering them far and wide. Isis, never discouraged, began a patient search for the precious fragments, finding all of them but the phallus, which had been eaten by a creature of the earth who is forever cursed for this crime.

In a magical, mystical intermingling with the reconstructed, reanimated body of Osiris, Isis conceives a child that will grow to be the true heir to the throne, contesting Set's claim to it. She then performs the first rites of embalming, restoring Osiris to eternal life, ruler of the netherworld. She is assisted in this rite by her sister Nephthys (who is also the wife of Set), her nephew Anubis (who appears in all death scenes to lead the deceased through the darkness), by Thoth, and even by the yet unborn Horus.

When Set hears of this, he captures her and imprisons her. With the help of Thoth, she conceals her pregnancy from Set and escapes. She hides Horus in the marshes, raising him in secret until he is strong enough to challenge Set (recalling the raising of the baby Moses, who eventually challenges Pharaoh).

However, she has no means of supporting herself and her baby, so she hides baby Horus among the reeds and goes begging all day. One day, returning from begging, she finds baby Horus writhing in pain and near death. Though unable to enter the marshes in his real form, Set had assumed the form of a serpent and bitten the baby. Isis is in despair. Now, feeling all alone in this world - her father and mother dead, her husband in the netherland, her younger brother Set attacking her at every turn, and her sister Nephthys married to Set - there appears to be no one who can help her. Isis therefore appeals to all mankind, calling on the marshdwellers and the fishermen, all of whom come immediately to her aid, weeping in sympathy, but powerless to help her against Set's magic. Horus, symbolizing the purity and innocence of the developing true heir, is now contaminated by the poison of the cunning, self-seeking Set. This is the poison that separates everyone who seeks selfs own desires without concern for God's.

Finally, Isis calls on the Most High God to intervene on behalf of everything that is pure and true. The "Boat of Millions of Years" draws level to her and interrupts its journey for her. From out of the barque (boat) descends Thoth. After expressing surprise that her magic is not able to cleanse the child of the poison, he assures her that the power of Ra is at her disposal.

Here Isis is meeting her own karma, for it was she who long ago caused a serpent to bite Ra. Now her treasured child lies poisoned and dying before her and she needs Ra's power to cure him.

Thoth tells Isis that when the barque stopped for her and Horus, the Sun stopped and darkness came over all. The darkness will not be dispelled until the barque moves again and the Sun shines again. She and Thoth realize the significance of the sun's stopping until Horus is cured: it means that if Horus dies, Ra's whole creation will be annihilated and Set, the principle of evil and the consciousness of darkness, will reign forever. Isis wishes that she were Horus herself so that she would not have to see the consequences of his death. Thoth, however, declares that the magical protection enjoyed by Horus will henceforth be equal to that of the Sun. Then, in the name of the Ra, Thoth exorcises the poison from Horus' body, saying that the boat of Ra will stand still, that there will be no food, that the temples will be closed, that misery will never depart from the world, that eternal darkness will reign, that the wells will be dry, that there will be no crops and no vegetation until Horus is cured. This powerful spell of the sun-god Ra, spoken by the moon-god Thoth, conquers the poison, and Isis and all mankind rejoice. Thoth then commends the child into their care, saying that Horus is now the responsibility of all those who live on earth.

This legend repeats the recurring theme of a great and perfect creature who is misguided into activities that lead to its loss - sometimes the loss is in the form of death, sometimes in banishment, sometimes in consciousness. Then, one who loves the creature gives all their being to rebirth or resurrect the lost one. This often takes the form of impregnating oneself with the seed of the lost one and giving birth to its heir. The young heir to the original creation is always in danger of being poisoned, imprisoned, or misguided by the forces that brought down the original creature. It takes enduring effort to bring the heir to age in one piece. Then, the heir overthrows the deceiver and rules forever - the perfect creation again, one generation removed, and presumably wiser.

This theme can be found in stories of most cultures on the earth. It is the story of the children of God, who lost their way and must, through great effort and many trials, become heirs to their previous glory and destiny.

In this specific legend, Osiris is the original perfect one. Isis is the mind and will that resurrects him in the seed of the womb of her consciousness. Horus is the heir, always symbolized in the same manner as Ra because he represents the living manifestation of Ra (as did Osiris) and the heir to Ra's creation. Set represents the deceiver, the ego, the self-seeking aspect of every person. It destroys the perfect Osiris, wrestles with the struggling Isis (the mind and will) and poisons the growing Horus. But, enduring, Horus becomes the messiah that overcomes Set's influence, forever - with a little help from heaven (in the form of Thoth/Hermes and the boat of father Ra).

Much goodness to know

Do not be afraid, dear one, you shall realise all that you truly desire.
We can see that your deepest desires are of the highest alignment and so they will come to be.

You can be sure that you will receive everything you need in due time, that means; when you are ready to enjoy it and receive it best.

Choice is a rather debatable given to you at this time because you believe in the law of attraction that is coming at you now from all outlets and this makes it difficult for you when you don't receive that what you believe you should have attracted.

There is another thing that seems rather questionable to you also, that of your soul- purpose here on earth and how that coincides with your current evolution or transition. For example you can have trust in helping others by residing in their frequency but feel like that is constricting to you.

So you wonder if you have any real choice in any matter as you are drawn to, and conscious of; multiple realities and frequencies at this time.

Well we say this: 
there is much you are still not conscious of, and you cannot always see the bigger picture when you get caught up in so called negative emotions, there are illusions present in your reality, not just in your mind or experience but in the outer world too.

We see that illusions are being seen for what they are now and that you are having to accomodate and re-evaluate. This is all part of the human experience for you and residing in any frequency should be valuable for your growth, seen from a broader learning experience perspective.

All is in divine and perfect order, we always repeat this because we know these words have a grounding, calming dimension to them.

There is also the experience of time which you are learning about.

There is no haste, there is no waste.

Trust and find that inner space again, where there is calm and a peaceful knowing. That is most important as you live your life and in your living is your soul purpose, in the struggle is the helping others, you are always helping yourself aswell as others just living your life.

There should be some transcendance now at all times, there is a filtering through of your soul and the most beautiful light at all times now in all of your experiences, there is illumination even though you pretend not to see it or are just not aware of it as yet.

You are becoming ever more aware, believe it or not, all humans are, so this is the expansion of consciousness and you are playing an important part in raising vibrations everywhere you go.

The intensity you sometimes feel inside or feel you are lacking outside is the gift, propelling you forward as you wish.

Be happy to know youself, for there is much goodness to know.

Reincarnation, Judgement and the Present

When you leave this human life experience you are not judged in any way, you are not condemned, you are not trapped, you are not blamed, and you are not sentenced.

You will come to realize and understand everything about the nature of being human and the purpose of creation. You will see everything from a completely different viewpoint.

Reincarnation is not a wheel of imprisonment or entrapment. Reincarnation does not entail the concept of karma as debt or punishment. 

You will be so moved by the suffering you have caused and been part of, you will hold much remorse for the judgment you have held and the choices you have made and you will instantly see how it could have been done differently and how different choices could have been made. 

There is always some amount of responsibility involved in the choice to be alive on planet earth.

You will be very excited to jump straight back into a body and into the human experience, in order to try out different choices. There is no negative judgment involved, only compassion and joy. 

It is a real thrill to be human. It is a game we angels play and our growth is part of a larger expansion of a far greater reality than even we can comprehend. 

Reality is infinite.

The transitory nature of the human game (we learn most well through play) makes it humanly speaking a timeline of experience of past, present and future. A human thinks that there is a past and that there is a future for humanity but really there is only the present moment where all is happening simultaneously. The prehistory is happening now and the future likened to a science fiction novel is also happening now.

Within the story of humanity as a species there is growth and development as you see it within your present life, within the parameters of the game this is necessary. Polarity is also crucial for the correct learning environment. Polarity entails opposites and also judgment, differentiation is quite paramount to survival on planet earth.

The earthlife from a human experience is one of great contrasts, similarities and differences. Within this spectrum there is freedom to experience every manner of suffering and unknowing. There can be great darkness and conflict and you make choices, you act, you live and you are curious to try everything within the boundaries of the game.

We are joyful in our effort for we learn constantly, we discover, we expand and it is all good. The density of the polarity allows us to truly know ourselves and this existence and it is infinite in its expression. 

The human experience entails a forgetting (temporarily) of who you are. It is not always complete and utter, there is always contact and connection with the source in which we exist as beings playing this game of human life in this dimension. The source is infinite and we wish to grow and know it better.

It seems from a human perspective in a duality universe that life is finite, limited, conditional and confined and it has to be that way for the experience to be conducive to learning and growth and I add: great joy.

So we revisit the earth as a hologram or game, time and time again in a process you could term reincarnation because we do reincarnate as humans in order to experiment with choice and all manner of experience.

We have created this 'game' so that we can learn about a state of being and a state of density that is so unlike our own but one which is very much part of our territory and dimension as we expand. 

When the learning process is complete and we have mastered the game, we will all move on, all humans included, into a new experience of expansion and infinity. 

We will all leave the wheel of death and rebirth as one unified entity. At that point (within the timeline) we will be satisfied and deeply fulfilled by the game. 

Reincarnation is a compassionate and loving choice, it is a commitment to growth and it brings great joy.

At this present moment within your perceived timeline within human evolution we specifically wish to have the veil lifted further and further to allow more and more light into your lives and in order to tip the scales of your and our human world in favor of joy as an experience. 

This process has been termed already by some humans as conscious-creation or the consciousness of infinity. Unconditional love is the fabric of reality; we are all one with the source of all life (light) as it is.

There is only the present moment but the amnesia is truly remarkable as it allows for all types of illusion, confusion and contraction. This is very fascinating stuff for us. The physical reality of your (our) world is quite special.

Unconditional love worked out within the game is our purpose and our goal is to know ourselves as we are and we are unconditional love. This human experience (game) allows us to get to know ourselves as we truly are and we learn a great deal and experience great joy from it. Our reality is one of joy.

So reality is not time-based for us as manifestations of source energy but it is always time-based if we wish to portray to you something of this existence, the human story of your (our) lives.

What then of the suffering and so called evil and what of good and so called love? 
Outside of the human experience there is no judgment for we are beings of unconditional love within the energy of source. To know that there is no judgment may cause feelings of shock and outrage.

There is no concept of morality, judgment or condemnation outside of the human experience. The nature of unconditional love is allowing for this deception and illusion to take place so that we might know ourselves better and know the infinite as it is.

We leave the game complete and as masters over it. This means we have learnt about unconditional love as effectively as possible in a deep and integrated way and can now move on in joy. Again I explain this as a timeline but it is not.

To experience this (ourselves) expanding entails the experience of that which we are not. We hold no darkness within ourselves but we wish to expand and grow, this entails new and unchartered territory and that which is infinite. The human experience (game) allows for this.

In our joy of play we visit the full spectrum of duality in all its manifestations, emotions, senses, instincts and forms of matter. This includes the more brutal and evil behaviors, in other words that which may not seem to be serving joy or the greater good but I say that it is.

A human body is a marvelous creation and quite perfect really, everything is designed to meet the requirements of our evolution and expansion. 

Know that all experience is choice, you (we) are in this together. We play different roles within the game, we research everything, and we cover all expressions of humanity within polarity. 

We are all 'bad guys' and 'good guys’, we play together continuously and we are all one within the expansion of infinite source.

We will move on when we are done and we already are. Looking at your particular life now, it is very interesting. This communication is possible because we wish to integrate unconditional love and masterhood into your life and the lives of many of your fellow humans in this age.

From your point of view your times are troubled but no more than any other timeline past or future. The human experience in a polarity universe is always going to be somewhat ‘rocky’.

The consciousness of the experience is different for you in this specific lifetime, it is more pronounced for you now than the others lifetimes. 

There are forces at play within the parameters of the game, most humans seek to play victim and some, just a few, have set themselves up as perpetrators. They (you, us), within the confines of the veil and within the amnesia believe themselves to rule over the planet through a network of conspiracy and dominion. 

Many of those in so called power on earth have socio- and psychopathic roles and experiences. The majority are playing victim.

This is all good and well, the game is going good (from a learning perspective it could never be bad). We seek though now to change the game this time around for you and many humans but not all. 

We are getting through now and the veil is thinning.

The tables are turning and the victims are becoming conscious and the perpetrators are becoming conscious and we (you) are co-creating in a very specific manner now. This is the realization of you (ourselves) as beings of unconditional love; this is becoming a conscious reality now.

Within this timeline you are waking up to this truth. 

You are bringing light into your life and the darkness is becoming conscious. 

Do you see how we are expanding and growing from this game, from this being? 
This is our nature of joy.

You need never question again whether or not your life has purpose or meaning because every second of your time is precious and perfect as a learning experience. Every moment of creation is joyful from our perspective even the most extreme polarity of darkness and fear holds great wisdom and knowledge within it. 

All forms of life and expression are allowed and encouraged within this game.

You and I we are the same entity, separation is an illusion, a game, a great understanding and unfolding, a flash of very bright light.

vocabulary of spring...forgotten

I am losing the will to go on, comfort has disappeared like the summer and now the autumn is leaving. I forgot to change my clothes, my coat of ever changing hues. It no longer reflects the sunlight’s rays, the green of leafy trees or the deep blue of the sky. I journey onwards without much hope, I have lost myself again, I cannot remember the vocabulary of spring, I have forgotten what those words used to sound like as they left my mouth. Thoughts have become mutterings of gloom in closed off spaces where cruel laughter can be heard and looks are seldom without malice. I know I should be laughing, I should be running through fields of flowers and walking beside streams, on hill tops looking down on sleepy villages. For a time I was moon bathing, my cloak captured the light, shimmering as I walked and clouds escaped through my lips. The fullness of it shook my foundations, warmed my ambition, the legend was laid down before me and the reason, now I only care to dream.

Most things lie untouched through fear, fear to knock down the doors of illusion. Behind them the earth is free of selection, division and differentiation. It is impossible to deny; my love is not shy, only my faith and trust in the releasing of it and the appreciation...the attraction of the needed material with which to manifest the unknown.

How to set better boundaries immediately:

1. Learn how to use the 12D shield and protect your Lightbody.
2. Realize that low self-esteem is equal to little to no boundary setting.
3. Inquire and decide what your core values and ethics are. What do you value?
4. We cannot change others, we only can change ourselves.
5. Reflect on the consequences of actions ahead of time.
6. Let your consistent behavior and actions show boundary setting, not necessarily words.
7. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

The Archetypes

HERO

The word hero is Greek, from a root that means "to protect and to serve".

A Hero is someone who is willing to sacrifice his own needs on behalf of others, like a shepherd who will sacrifice to protect and serve his flock. At the root of the idea of Hero is connected with self-sacrifice.

MENTOR: WISE OLD MAN OR WOMAN

An archetype found frequently in dreams, myths, and stories is the Mentor, usually a positive figure who aids or trains the hero. Campbell's name for this force is the Wise Old Man or Wise Old Woman. This archetype is expressed in all those characters who teach and protect heroes and give them gifts. Whether it's God walking with Adam in the Garden of Eden, Merlin guiding King Arthur, the Fairy Godmother helping Cinderella, or a veteran sergeant giving advice to rookie cop, the relationship between hero and Mentor is one of the richest sources of entertainment in literature and film.

The word "Mentor" comes to us from The Odyssey. A character named Mentor guides the young hero, Telemachus, on his Hero's journey. In fact it's the goddess Athena who helps Telemachus, by assuming the form of Mentor. Mentor's often speak in the voice of a god, or are inspired by divine wisdom. Good teachers and Mentors are enthused, in the original sense of the word. "Enthusiasm" is from the Greek en theos, meaning god-inspired, having a god in you, or being in the presence of a god.

THRESHOLD GUARDIAN

All heroes encounter obstacles on the road to adventure. At each gateway to a new world there are powerful guardians at the threshold, placed to keep the unworthy from entering. They present a menacing face to the hero, but if properly understood, they can be overcome, bypassed, or even turned into allies. Many heroes (and many writers) encounter Threshold Guardians, and understanding their nature can help determine how to handle them.

Threshold Guardians are usually not the main villains or antagonists in stories. Often they will be lieutenants of the villain, lesser thugs or mercenaries hired to guard access to the chief's headquarters. They may also be neutral figures who are simply part of the landscape of the special world. In rare cases they may be secret helpers placed in the hero's path to test her willingness and skill.

HERALD

Often a new force will appear in Act One to bring a challenge to the hero. This is the energy of the Herald archetype. Like the heralds of medieval chivalry, Herald characters issue challenges and announce the coming of significant change.

Typically, in the opening phase of a story, heroes have "gotten by" somehow. They have handled an imbalanced life through a series of defenses or coping mechanisms. Then all at once some new energy enters the story that makes it impossible for the hero to simply get by any longer. A new person, condition, or information shifts the hero's balance, and nothing will ever be the same. A decision must be made, action taken, the conflict faced. A Call to Adventure has been delivered, often by a character who manifests the archetype of the Herald.

SHAPESHIFTER

People often have trouble grasping the elusive archetype of the Shapeshifter, perhaps because its very nature is to be shifting and unstable. Its appearance and characteristics change as soon as you examine it closely. Nonetheless, the Shapeshifter is a powerful archetype and understanding its way can be helpful in storytelling and life.

Heroes frequently encounter figures, often of the opposite sex, whose primary characteristic is that they appear to change constantly from the hero's point of view. Often the hero's love interest or romantic partner will manifest the qualities of a Shapeshifter. We have all experienced relationships in which our partner is fickle, two-faced or bewilderingly changeable.

Shapeshifters change appearance or mood, and are difficult for the hero and the audience to pin down. They may mislead the hero or keep her guessing, and their loyalty or sincerity is often in question. An Ally or friend of the same sex as the hero may also act as a Shapeshifter in a buddy comedy or adventure. Wizards, witches, and ogres are traditional Shapeshifters in the world of fairy tales.

SHADOW

The archetype known as the Shadow represents the energy of the dark side, the unexpressed, unrealized, or rejected aspects of something. Often it's the home of the suppressed monsters of our inner world. Shadows can be all the things we don't like about ourselves, all the dark secrets we can't admit, even to ourselves. The qualities we have renounced and tried to root out still lurk within, operating in the Shadow world of the unconscious. The Shadow can also shelter positive qualities that are in hiding or that we have rejected for some reason.

The negative face of the Shadow in stories is projected onto characters called villains, antagonists, or enemies. Villains and enemies are usually dedicated to the death, destruction or defeat of the hero. Antagonists may not be quite so hostile---they may be Allies who are after the same goal but who disagree with hero's tactics. Antagonists and heroes in conflict are like horses in a team pulling in different directions, while villains and heroes in conflict are like trains on a head-on collision course.

TRICKSTER

The Trickster archetype embodies the energies of mischief and desire for change. All the characters in stories who are primarily clowns or comical sidekicks express this archetype. The specialized form called the Trickster Hero is the leading figure in many myths and is very popular in folklore and fairy tales.

origin of the Atlantis destruction and our own civilization

Originally dedicated to the principles of civil liberty and spiritual virtue, they eventually turned away from those fundamentals that comprised the foundation of their very existence. They embraced selfish materialism and worshipped, no longer the Soul of Nature, but technology, because it, they believed, could fulfil all their hopes and desires, aspirations now sunk to levels of vulgarity, banality, and sensationalism. Since greed feeds upon itself, becoming hungrier the more it consumes, the debased Atlanteans looked beyond their island for additional riches. They invaded and seized the natural wealth of foreign lands, blaming the victims for their own conquest.

Over time, an immense empire, history's first global corporation, stretched from Atlantis far beyond horizons. Puffed up with pride in the supremacy of their armed forces and the economic might of their kingdom, the Atlanteans sought to impose their way of life on the rest of the world – for the benefit of other peoples, but most especially for their own insatiable thirst for power. For many years, Atlantis was the richest, most militarily potent, feared and hated capital on Earth.

As Plato wrote of its citizens, “To those who had an eye to see, the depth of their degeneracy was obvious enough. To the majority, whose judgment was distracted by superficial appearances, however, they appeared, in the pursuit of unbridled self-indulgence and power, to be at the height of their good fortune. But Zeus, the god of gods, who reigns by law, and whose eye can see into such things, when he perceived the deplorable condition of this formerly admirable people, decided to punish them, and reduce them through the terrible agency of his stern justice.”

At the zenith of their political, economic and military magnificence, the Atlanteans precipitated a war in the Eastern Mediterranean. Typically successful at first, their arrogance was humbled by the entirely unexpected humiliation of their armed forces. In the midst of this debacle and mired in the awful consequences of aggression gone terribly wrong, the splendid city of Atlantis was reduced to flaming ruins by a natural catastrophe and dragged with most of its screaming inhabitants to the bottom of the sea. The formerly all-powerful Atlantean Empire utterly collapsed in chaos, followed by a prolonged Dark Age.

In the millennia following these cataclysmic events, Atlantis was not forgotten, but so little of its story endured, most scholars dismissed it as a “myth,” or fable. Surviving generations of humanity had suffered a planetary amnesia, from which we are only just now beginning to recover, as evidence mounts for the one-time existence of the sunken city. But more than archaeological artefacts are resuscitating Atlantis.

As the present condition of our own civilisation begins to more resemble its decline, comparisons are unavoidable. When Plato stated that the Atlanteans were punished by Zeus, “who reigns by law,” he inferred that moral law and natural law are neither separate nor unrelated to each other, but actually component parts of the same universal force that not only permeates the entire universe, but is the stuff of which all existence itself is made. In other words, the Atlanteans had brought about their own destruction through their greed, hubris, and mass-murder masquerading as self-defense, all covered by a gloss of patriotic lies to justify their decadent behaviour.

Remarkably, the moral cause Plato defined as the origin of the Atlantis destruction was likewise cited in literally hundreds of similar flood-accounts preserved by native peoples around the globe.

Thought Entities

Humans are far from the only aware beings in this reality. As individuals we reside in multiple realms, obviously our body occupies the physical realm, whilst the mind has the ability to exist across numerous realms simultaneously, many of which we access without even realising. Affording abilities such as intuition, prescience, telepathy - which on however small a level, most of us have experienced. Some of those other realms our mind wanders, are “spirit” worlds which can be accessed through meditative techniques or via other means such as taking shamanistic vines like Ayahuasca. Beyond this however, our mind is also a realm unto itself.

Within that individual realm reside all manner of non-physical manifestations. In that place - thoughts, when given sufficient power give birth to beings - these thoughts become “entities” in and of themselves. They reside within our minds, sometimes hidden and at other times they rise to the fore and can momentarily posses us. Influencing a decision or an action; “I can’t understand why I did that!” we say. The more power we feed such beings, the more potential influence they can have over us - until eventually our every waking moment is occupied by thoughts that are not our own. Such beings have the ability to transcend individual mind-spaces, crossing over to another individual. How many times have you had an infuriating moment with someone - only to later find their words (or thoughts?) playing over and over in your mind. This is how those entities attempt to take root.

How is a balanced sexual expression even possible?

It seems to me that growth/development could be towards something more balanced and the universe or creative life-force that we are an embodiment of wants us to respect and nurture the masculine and feminine energies and bring them into expression in a balanced way. Yet despite my arduous attempts to align myself with this reasoning I continue to not get any tangible results at all.

I feel that people, especially men need better role-models and have the whole forces of media against them, especially sexually.

My struggles to become more balanced have not achieved anything honorable, in any sense, because the physical and emotional needs that I have are not met at all. (Right now it seems that way). It doesn't seem to matter which way I go on this, the middle road at any rate has not turned out to be very rewarding (so far) with the sexual desire thing.

There just doesn't seem to be a viable alternative when it comes to sexual expression, I have worked incredibly hard to understand how I can be of more service to others or have I not?

At the end of the day we have bodies, senses, expressions, drives and sexual desire/needs; so suppression is not the way and yet if those needs are not met in any kind of loving way by another, what then?

They can be taken care of and met by the self in a loving way.

How to not get frustrated?
I'm sure most people want and need intimacy, so why do they run and hide at the first glimpse of it?

It seems to me that growth/development just isn't that balanced, at least not in a way I understand it. Most expression is apparently chaotic and loathes respect. Reality asks of us that we change continuously and no-one ever said that happiness is the way except the Dalai Lama.

What if I let compassion and courage think and speak on my behalf?

What if my thoughts and words were really instruments of revelation and empowerment?

Being has not caught up with Knowledge

Truth-seekers can waste a lot of time and energy going down the “rabbit hole”, getting hooked/addicted to external information and “sensationalism” that has very little to do with “truth seeking”. In their attempt to “figure things out”, they can get lost in the “theory abyss”, especially if there is a personal lack of discernment, and Being has not caught up with Knowledge.

Gathering intellectual information alone does not help you (nor the world) in the long run, and most often results in self-delusion because Understanding/Wisdom (embodied knowledge) is lacking [as discussed in the triad of Knowledge – Being – Understanding earlier]. Another trap is to focus on just one topic or area alone, for this can create a tunnel vision of inflexibility (or even dogma, if one is very attached to a certain view). This observation isn’t intended to invalidate the many amazing renegades who have done tremendous work in their particular field of expertise, many of whom I have learned from myself. I am simply pointing out the importance of a holistic approach that addresses body, mind, and spirit, which is more and more needed in this day and age.

To be clear, anyone who wants to awaken and seek truth needs to step into the unknown and go down the “rabbit hole”: to read, study, learn (un-learn) to the best of their abilities, and question everything they have been told and taught by official culture. This process is also different for each of us, depending on our personal lessons and talents. Hence, it’s not about all of us becoming “scholars” and study/researching everything there is to read/view, which would be ridiculous and impossible anyway.

However, if the process of intellectually gathering information in the pursuit of truth is not matched with the necessary inner work, the mind will trick you, and you will get lost in the rabbit hole, as I’ve seen with many well-meaning “truth seekers” and researchers. I got stuck in this ‘mind-minefield’ at some point myself. I don’t take myself out of the equation because I learned the “hard” way. It happens when we lose focus of the principal aim (emancipation) and get distracted by curious fascination. This is not meant to denounce curiosity, but curiosity alone is not enough.

Knowledge acquired through study in the pursuit of truth is an essential – but only temporary – stage of awakening. It helps us to de-condition ourselves from social, cultural, and educational programming (pushing through our own cognitive dissonance) while we learn about critical thinking, logic and how to use the mind properly as a “tool”. However, Gnosis (higher Knowledge) cannot be perceived by the mind alone, nor can it be intellectually understood. In order to receive and anchor Gnosis, the vessel needs to be built via esoteric self-work and embodiment.

In other words, our level of Being determines how much higher Knowledge we can access via direct experience – tuning into nature, the “universe”, and the present moment in our daily lives, where we are constantly being informed by spirit and the vast living library of interconnectedness. This Knowledge is impossible to put into the limiting constructs of language. You cannot access Gnosis via reading alone, for it resides beyond our five-sensory perception. This is also the gateway towards receiving and experiencing Higher Love of the Divine, which is beyond the love we experience (or “think/feel” it is) in the lower separate-consciousness state of ego/personality identification.

We should be mindful not to forget the most important part of seeking truth and its purpose: to assist us in our personal embodiment/self-work and collective “ascension” process so as to align with Divine Will (via anchoring to higher frequencies) in order to TRANSCEND the Matrix, and not get caught in shadow dance/projection, or willfully trying to “fight” it. As embodied frequency anchors, we have far more positive effects to offer to others (and the Collective) than just sharing information and trying to wake up others via intellectual discourse alone. Again, it’s all about frequency and vibration.

The process of “Awakening” is not just about gathering information and becoming a walking encyclopedia of how the world is controlled. Of course, having a solid understanding of the Matrix Control System (in particular the hyperdimensional Matrix) and how it operates is a key aspect of the journey (“know thy enemy”), but when we get caught up in trying to figure everything out intellectually, we’ll hit a wall, especially since we are subjected to manipulation that is outside of our five sensory perception. It is about making the darkness conscious, NOT dwelling on it to the point that we only see darkness in the world, thus getting stuck there.

This can also result in seeing “evil” and “conspiracies” where there are none (as a result of shadow projection and paranoia), and this will keep you trapped in the lower frequencies – which is where the Matrix Control Systems wants your consciousness to reside. You can only transcend it, you cannot transform it. After all the rabbit-holing you do, if you don’t get stuck and lost, you will ultimately face a mirror, looking straight at yourself – and that is where the real work begins: with yourself.
